Tabletop, NSW
The use of steel was a key element in the owners brief as they own and operate an engineering and steel fabrication business. This stunning residence was primarily built using prefabricated building techniques designed by Reyform. The result was a large modern industrial home with polished concrete floors and exposed steel sections throughout. We worked with the owners to create a factory-built super structure which was assembled on-site within two days. To complete the building shell, the steel superstructure was then in-filled with non-load bearing timber wall panels. One of the many features is an open, central corridor with large glazed elements at either end, allowing light to filter into the building while providing glimpses of the landscape in all directions. The home also boasts large outdoor entertaining spaces with several balconies to take in the views of Lake Hume and the surrounding Table Top mountains.
